Manilva Town celebrates its patron saint, Santa Ana, on Wednesday, 26th July, with two days of events starting Saturday, 22nd July.
Saturday, 22nd
11 am – Fun and games in Calle Mar organised by the local guild, Cofradia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores y Nuestro Pare Jesus Nazareno de Manilva, in collaboration with the Manilva Town Hall Fiestas Department.
10 pm – Coronation of the Fiesta Queens.
10.30 pm – Music and dancing in Calle Mar to the groups ‘Compás Flamenco’ and ‘A Compás Musical’.
Wednesday, 26th
8 am – Musical parade ‘Charanga’ through the streets of Manilva.
7.30 pm – Holy Mass in honour of Santa Ana with the Manilva Music School Choir, in the church, followed by a procession of the image of of the patron saint through the streets of Manilva, accompanied by the Manilva Town Band.
10.30 pm – Music and dancing in Calle Mar to the groups ‘A Compás Musical’ and ‘Kalima’.
