Manilva celebrates its annual August Fair from Wednesday, 9th to Sunday, 13t, August, at the Fairground on the Rio Manilva road.
Programme
Wednesday 9th
9 pm – Children’s Day at the Fair, with all attractions 1 euro.
10.30 pm – Opening of the ‘August Fair’ with the official turning on the fairground illuminations. This followed by the opening address by Jerónimo Mora Palma, President of the Arteatro 13 Manilva cultural association.
11.30 pm – Coronation of the Feria Queen’s, followed by music and dancing in the official marquee to the band ‘Kalima’. Younger fairgoers can enjoy music from the resident DJs ‘Turbo’ and ‘Pajaro’ in the Youth Marquee.
Thursday 10th
10.30 pm – Music and dancing in the official marquee to the band ‘Kalima’.
12.30 am – Concert by the group ‘Etornos Cantores’, performing Sevillanas since 1976, followed by music and dancing into the early hours to the band ‘Kalima’.
Younger fairgoers can enjoy music from the resident DJs ‘Turbo’ and ‘Pajaro’ in the Youth Marquee.
Friday 11th
9.30 pm – Children’s entertainment with ‘Los Gabytos’, a tribute to TV clowns Gaby, Fofó and Miliki, in the municipal marquee.
10.30 pm – Music and dancing in the municipal marquee to the bands ‘Kalima’ and ‘Compás Flamenco’.
Younger fairgoers can enjoy music from the resident DJs ‘Turbo’ and ‘Dani Cerdan’ in the Youth Marquee.
Saturday 12th
8 pm – Feria parade through the streets of Manilva, accompanied by musicians and DJ Pollo.

2 am – Concert by the group ‘Sotano Sur’ performing popular hits from the Golden Age of Spanish Pop, followed by music and dancing into the early hours to the band ‘Kalima’.

Sunday 13th
7.30 pm – Feria parade through the streets of Castillo and Sabinillas, accompanied by musicians and DJ Pollo.
