Manilva Night Walk

Manilva’s traditional Sendero Nocturno returns on Thursday 27 August, offering residents and visitors the chance to enjoy a summer evening walk along the municipality’s coastline under the light of the moon.

Now in its 13th edition, the event combines exercise, nature and a relaxed social atmosphere and has become a regular fixture in Manilva’s summer calendar. Previous editions have attracted a strong turnout for the walk along the Senda Litoral.

The walk will leave at 9 pm from Plaza Manuel Luna “El Cali” on the Sabinillas Paseo Marítimo, following the coastal path towards Playa del Negro before returning to Sabinillas.

The complete route is approximately 10 kilometres there and back, providing an opportunity to experience Manilva’s coastline from a very different perspective after sunset.

On their return, participants will be able to relax at Playa de la Colonia, where a specially prepared chill-out area will offer a refreshing drink together with a relaxing gong and quartz singing bowl session.

Organised by Manilva Town Hall’s Environment Department, the Sendero Nocturno is designed as an informal activity combining walking, the natural surroundings and the atmosphere of a summer night beside the Mediterranean.
