Estepona-born flamenco dancer Lourdes Bazán and her son José de Lourdes will present their show Raíces y Herencia at the Parque Botánico Orquidario in Estepona on 22 August at 9 pm. Admission is free.
The performance takes audiences on a journey into the soul of flamenco, bringing together two generations connected by family, art and a shared passion for the tradition.
Lourdes brings a lifetime of experience, strength and flamenco compás to the stage, while her son represents a new generation and the continuing evolution of the art form. Together they create an emotional dialogue through dance, combining powerful moments of duende with more intimate passages reflecting their relationship as mother and son.
Raíces y Herencia tells a story of learning, sacrifice and a love of flamenco, exploring how the art is inherited, transformed and kept alive from one generation to the next.
