Málaga band Wasabi Cru will perform a free open-air concert at the Monumento del Castillo de la Duquesa this Saturday, 15 August, beginning at 10 pm. The concert forms part of Manilva’s summer cultural programme, organised in collaboration with the Manilva Culture Department, Málaga Provincial Council and Culturama.
Known for their distinctive fusion of neosoul, soul, funk, R&B and jazz, Wasabi Cru combine strong rhythms with an energetic and stylish live performance. The Málaga group have developed their own contemporary take on soul music, mixing different influences to create a sound that ranges from laid-back grooves to more danceable funk.
With free admission and the historic Castillo providing the backdrop, Saturday’s concert offers another opportunity to enjoy live music outdoors during Manilva’s busy summer programme.
