40 years ago this month The Jam released their 6th and final studio album The Gift. After the resulting Trans Global Express tour Paul Weller disbanded The Jam. 

Tonight on It’s A Way Of Life on Radio Mix in conjunction with www.liquidatormusic.com we are looking back at, and playing all of this great album and some of the other music around in 1982. As well as the Jam we have music from The Clash, The Stranglers, The Prisoners, The Beat, Madness, Secret Affair, Bad Manners, The Purple Hearts, and a great new track from up and coming band Fleeting Mind.
