Casares’ Halloween programme spans all three parts of the municipality this October, with family entertainment, fancy dress, musical shows and haunted attractions in Casares Town and Secadero. Following the opening celebration on the coast, the programme continues in the village on Friday 30 October and in Secadero on Saturday 31 October 2026.
In Casares Town on Friday 30 October, the celebrations begin with a Halloween parade departing from Plaza de España at 5 pm. Families can join the procession in costume before continuing the afternoon with themed workshops at 5.30 pm in Plaza Marcelino Camacho.
The same square will host Operación Halloween at 7 pm, adding a musical show to an afternoon of costumes and creative activities.
As darkness falls, the former Casa del Médico, in Plaza Marcelino Camacho, will become the setting for the village’s Pasaje del Terror. This year’s haunted attraction takes visitors inside a sinister old convent, brought to life by the Municipal Theatre School.
Sessions are scheduled from 8 pm until 12.30 am. Tickets cost €2 and went on sale on 21 October at the tourist office in the Casa Natal de Blas Infante. Anyone planning to take part should obtain their ticket in advance.
The celebrations move to Secadero on Saturday 31 October, with Halloween workshops from 5 pm to 8 pm. Families will also have another opportunity to enjoy Operación Halloween, with the musical scheduled for 5.30 pm.
Later in the evening, El Circo Maldito — The Cursed Circus — will provide Secadero’s Halloween scares. This haunted attraction opens at 8.30 pm on the upper floor of the Edificio Multiusos, rounding off the programme with a suitably chilling finale.
With a village parade, two performances of Operación Halloween and haunted encounters in both Casares and Secadero, the remaining programme offers plenty of reasons to get the costumes ready for the Halloween weekend.
