Summer on the Costa del Sol has turned into its own soundtrack: sunset stages by the sea, headline names in purpose-built arenas, and easy night trips inland for a completely different vibe. In 2026, it’s once again a “choose your mood” season, big singalong shows, heritage settings, and warm-night energy from the coast to Andalucía’s great cities.
At Marenostrum Fuengirola, the location is half the magic, with concerts set beside the Mediterranean and the castle backdrop making every gig feel like an event. The programme typically mixes major Spanish pop and rock with international touring names including: Sting, Las Oreja de Van Gogh, Twisted Sister, Gipsy Kings, and many more. So it’s an easy choice whether you’re going with friends, family, or visiting guests.
Nearer home, Starlite Marbella offers a more boutique feel: high-production shows in the Nagüeles quarry, followed by its trademark late-night atmosphere. It’s the place for people who want the full night out, music first, then the “after” that keeps going. This year’s lineup includes Lenny Kravitz, Maroon 5, Deep Purple, Sergio Dalma, and more to be announced.
For a more direct arena-style experience, Marbella Arena has been building a strong summer calendar of big, straightforward concert nights, perfect if you want to turn up, sing along, and keep the logistics simple. Already confirmed are: Craig David, Two Door Cinema Club, UB40 and the Kaiser Chiefs.
And if you’re up for going inland, Seville delivers one of the most striking settings of the season, with major shows staged at Plaza de España as part of its summer festival programme, an unbeatable blend of music, such as Robbie Williams, Marilyn Manson, Moby, and the Prodigy among others. Over in Jerez, the Tío Pepe Festival adds an unmistakably Andalusian flavour, pairing concerts with the atmosphere of the bodegas and the city’s famous food-and-wine culture. Raphael, Deep Purple, Pastora Soler, and Jose Mercé are on the bill.
Across all of these venues, the pattern is the same: big names, memorable places, and a calendar that rewards planning. Pick your “must-see” date early, then build the rest of your summer around it.
