The annual Three Kings Parade in Estepona is set to fill the streets with colour, music and excitement on Monday 5th January, with a spectacular procession featuring 12 floats and the distribution of 16,000 kilos of sweets and more than 3,000 balls.
The Grand Parade will set off at 5 pm from Estepona Town Hall, travelling along Avenida Juan Carlos I, Avenida Andalucía, Avenida España and Calle Terraza before finishing at the Botanical Orchid Park at around 8 pm. Along the route, families can enjoy five themed street performances, fantastical characters, a group of Bedouins and live music from local bands and traditional Christmas ensembles. The floats will feature a highly visual theme inspired by superheroes and princesses, while the floats of the Three Kings themselves will draw inspiration from Asia, reflecting their legendary origins.
Earlier in the day, from 11.30 am, a children’s party will be held at the Fairground to welcome the Three Kings, with a magic show by Rubén titled Navidad Mágica. Their arrival is expected around 1 pm.
Ahead of the parades, the Royal Page will be collecting children’s letters to the Three Kings on Saturday 3 January, from 5 pm to 8 pm, in the foyer of the Municipal Auditorium.
