Manilva Netball Club has been bringing women together for over two decades, offering far more than just a game. The club has become a fixture in the local community, built around connection as much as competition. From the very beginning, founder Gay McMullen set out to create a space where people could meet others in the area, build friendships, and form a genuine support network, particularly for those starting a new life here.
Training sessions are open to everyone and are designed as a relaxed, no-pressure play time with a strong focus on enjoyment, inclusion and fitness. Tuesday night sessions see players aged from 10 to 75, including working mums with little free time, students, retirees loving life, and often even a dog or two spectating from the sidelines.
For those wanting to take things further, there is also a competitive pathway. Under the leadership of club captain Joanna Rowe, Manilva Netball Club has been part of the Gibraltar Netball League for four years and is currently competing in Division 2, proudly the only team representing Spain.
Whether you’re brand new or ready to level up, there’s a place for you on court.
Tuesday nights from 6.30 pm till 8 pm from January to May, and September to December in Manilva town
