Bosquipark social kitchen

José Manuel Fernández, mayor of Manilva, has officially signed the launch of the contracting process to begin the building of the new Social Kitchen in Jardines de Sabinillas (Bosquipark). The project will be carried out through a simplified open procedure with ordinary processing and multiple award criteria.

Benefits and Features of the Social Kitchen

  • Over 150 people will benefit from this service every day.
  • It will be managed by the experienced Emaus Association.
  • The creation of five jobs.
  • The social kitchen will be self-financed through grants.
  • The Town Council will provide the premises.
  • Meals will be picked up on-site, although a vehicle will be available for delivery to people with limited mobility.
  • Service will be offered Monday through Friday. On Fridays, meal packs will be prepared for the weekend.
  • A prioritisation system will be used to determine the most in-need recipients.
