The Mayor of Estepona has held a meeting with the Andalucian Councillor for University, Research and Innovation, José Carlos Gómez Villamandos, to promote the university project in the municipality.
José MarÃÂa GarcÃÂa Urbano has highlighted “the attention and willingness of his department and the Andalucian administration for the continuation of the processing of this educational project, which will allow Estepona to be a university town”.
“Implementing a University in the municipality, part of the Andalucian university system, will benefit the entire town since university activity is an excellent economic, social, cultural and educational driver,” says the councillor.
