Estepona has unveiled the programme for its Feria y Fiestas Mayores 2026, which will take place from Tuesday 7 to Sunday 12 July, bringing together live music, children’s entertainment, equestrian events, fireworks, dancing and traditional feria celebrations.
The fair will officially begin on Tuesday 7 July with a parade of giants and big-head figures through the town centre, followed by the official opening speech, which this year will be given by journalist Antonio Jiménez. The opening night will also include a performance by Estepona singer Rocío Bazán, the switching on of the feria lights and a fireworks display at the fairground.
The Caseta Municipal will once again be at the heart of the celebrations, hosting a series of free concerts and performances throughout the week. Among the headline acts are Número Uno with Diego Martín – La Playlist de tu vida, Joana Jiménez, Los Yakis and Paco Candela, alongside other artists including Samuel Vélez, Baraka & Ana Soto, Kiko Peña, Juan José Alcántara and Acontratiempo.
Wednesday 8 July will be Children’s Day, with special prices on the attractions and a children’s party featuring entertainment and a magic show in the Caseta Municipal.
From Thursday to Saturday, visitors will also be able to enjoy a free horse-drawn carriage ride, with a stop in front of the Caseta Municipal. From Friday to Sunday, the Paseo de Caballos will be open at the fairground from midday to 8 pm for riders, who are encouraged to dress in traditional Andalusian style and decorate their horses for the occasion.
The fair will close on Sunday 12 July with a full day of equestrian events, flamenco, dance performances, the traditional Día de la Paella and the Feria bullfight at Estepona Bullring, featuring Talavante, Juan Ortega and Roca Rey with bulls from the Luis Algarra Polera ranch.
Estepona Town Hall has also announced that people with extreme sensitivity to loud sounds will be able to collect ear protectors during the fair from the Civil Protection stand, located at the entrance to the fairground.
