Estepona celebrates its 2023 Summer Feria

This year’s Estepona Summer Feria will be held from Tuesday 4th to Sunday 9th July, with most of the events taking place at the Feria Ground, but with other events held throughout the town.

Programme

Tuesday, 4th July

• 8 pm – A parade of ‘Giants and Big Heads’ through the town centre will signal the start of the Estepona Fair, starting from the Víctor de Serna School.
• 9 pm – Reading of the Opening Address, by Carlos Moreno “El Pulpo”, Presenter and DJ for Cadena 100 and COPE, on Avenida de España. Performance by the Lourdes Bazán Flamenco Group. Fireworks display.
• 11 pm – Inauguration and switching on of the illuminations by the local Council, accompanied by the Estepona Town Band.
• 12 midnight – Performance by the Metrópolis Orchestra in the Municipal Pavillion.

Wednesday, 5th July

• 3 pm – Fried Egg Day (free with the drink).  (Your guess is as good as mine!)
• 3 pm – Performance by the Callejón Del Jaleo Group in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 6 pm to 8 pm – Happy Hour (2 for 1) at the Municipal Pavillion.
• 7 pm – Children’s Party with entertainment by Electroñecos, in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 9 pm – Performance by the Mariví Rodríguez Ballroom, Cabaret and Oriental Dance Group, and the Claudia Ramírez “La Marivilla” Modern, Contemporary and Flamenco Dance Group, in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 11 pm – Performance by the Dynamic Orchestra in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 12 midnight – Performance by Nyno Vargas at the Municipal Pavillion.
• 1.30 am – Performance by the Dynamic Orchestra in the Municipal Pavillion.

NOTE – This day is dedicated to children, and the fairground attractions have a 50% discount.

Thursday, 6th July

• 3 pm – Performance by José Fernández “El Pirata” in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Free ride in a horse-drawn carriage, with a stop in front of the Municipal Pavillion.
• 6 pm to 8 pm – Happy Hour  (2 for 1) at the Municipal Pavillion.
• 7 pm – Seniors Party with a performance by the dance group from the Centre for Active Participation of the Elderly, directed by Mónica Peña. The traditional snack will be offered, with the collaboration of the Obrador-Pastelería Los Remedios.
• 7.30 pm – Performance by Laura Gallego in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 9 pm – Performance by the Lourdes Barrientos Spanish and Flamenco Dance Group, and by the Lourdes Bazán Classical and Flamenco Dance Group, in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 10 pm – Performance by the Metrópolis Orchestra in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 11 pm – Performance by the Dynamic Orchestra in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 12 midnight – Performance by María Peláe in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 1.30 am – Performance by the Dynamic Orchestra in the Municipal Pavillion.

NOTE – The amusement area will remain without music from 6 pm to 9 pm, for people with extreme sensitivity to loud noises.

Friday, 7th July

• 3 pm – Musical Performance by the Flamenco Group of the sisters Alicia and Belén Benítez in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 6 pm to 8 pm – Free ride in a horse-drawn carriage, with a stop in front of the Municipal Pavillion.
• 6 pm to 9 pm – Performance by the Metrópolis Orchestra and Happy Hour (2 for 1) at the Municipal Pavillion.
• 9 pm – Performance by the Eva Alarcón Classical-Spanish and Flamenco Dance Group in the Municipal Pavillion. Performance by the Laura and Sara Perea Modern and Acrobatic Dance Group in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 11 pm – Performance by the Dynamic Orchestra in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 12 midnight – Performance by Cepeda in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 1.30 am – Performance by the Dynamic Orchestra in the Municipal Pavillion.

Saturday, 8th July

• 3 pm – Performance by the SonDaire Group at the Municipal Pavillion.
• 6 pm to 8 pm – Free ride in a horse-drawn carriage, with a stop in front of the Municipal Pavillion.
• 6 pm to 8 pm – Performance by the Metrópolis Orchestra and Happy Hour (2 for 1) at the Municipal Pavillion.
• 11 pm – Performance by Bertín Osborne in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 12.30 am – Performance by the Dynamic and Metrópolis Orchestras at the Municipal Pavillion.

Sunday, 9th July

• 1 pm – Riding contest at the “Paseo de Caballos”.
• 3 pm – Paella Day (free with a drink).
• 3 pm – Performance by the Flamenco Fusion Group of José Rodríguez & Cía, in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 5 pm to 7 pm – Performance by the Metrópolis Orchestra and Happy Hour (2 for 1) at the Municipal Pavillion..
• 7 pm Performance by the Martina Tessaro Dance School, directed by MARTINA TESSARO, at the Municipal Pavillion.
• 8 pm – Bullfight at the Bullring
• 8 pm – Performance of Flamenco, Spanish Classical, Modern Dance, Classical Ballet from the Gemma Sánchez Dance Studio “La Milana”, in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 9 pm – Performance by the La Peña Flamenca School of Estepona, directed by Antonio Trujillo, With José Fernández on guitar, and vocalist Cristina Alba, in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 10 pm – Performance by the Inmaculada Chacón Workshop Group “=ES” of Estepona Dance Therapy, in the Municipal Pavillion.
• 11 pm – Flamenco and Modern Dance performance by “El Taller del Arte”, directed by José Franco and Inmaculada Carmona, in the Municipal Pavillion.
