ADANA mural by Craig Wilson Frazer

ADANA, the Estepona-based charity dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs, has completed a new extension at its Los Pedregales centre—and topping it off is a vibrant mural by local artist Craig Wilson Fraser.

This colourful artwork brings a joyful energy to the site, echoing the hope and compassion at the core of ADANA’s mission. Visible from the rural track that winds up from the main road, the mural welcomes visitors with a message of warmth, love, and second chances. It’s more than decoration—it’s a celebration of the work being done every day to give animals a better life.

Craig, originally from Edinburgh, launched his creative career in 1991 with immersive nightclub installations and UV murals. After moving to California in 1994, he became part of San Francisco’s rave and festival scene, producing large-scale installations and serving as Art Director for the UK label Tantra/Blue Room Released. His move to Tucson, Arizona in 2004 shifted his focus toward community-based art through collaborations with Solar Culture, PLAY Gallery, and Flow Gallery—where his work still appears in public spaces.

Now living in Manilva, Craig continues to share his artistic vision across the Costa del Sol. His recent projects include live painting at The Boab Tree restaurant in Estepona and murals for local businesses such as Trasteros Ya! His latest piece for ADANA brings his signature sense of colour and connection to a cause close to the community’s heart.

Whether working in galleries, public venues, or rural sanctuaries, Craig’s art always seeks to build bridges—between people, place, and purpose.
