Manilva Feria 2024

Manilva celebrates its annual summer fair from Wednesday, 7th to Sunday 11th August, with a packed programme of events, and entertainment at the fairground, and parades in Castillo, Sabinillas and Manilva.

Many local businesses, banks, and council offices will be on reduced hours.

The main pavilion opens at 9 pm and the youth pavilion (12 to 16-year-olds) is open from 10 pm to 1 pm.

Programme

Wednesday, August 7

Children’s Day – All attractions for €1.50, starting at 9 pm.

10.30 pm – Inauguration of the “August Fair” with the lighting ceremony at the Fairgrounds.

Following the lighting ceremony, a speech will be given by Pepi Valenzuela Cuevas, president of the “Manilva Pensioners’ Association.” A woman dedicated to her town, she served as the area director of the Manilva Town Hall and is passionate about promoting tourism and fashion.

11.30 pm – Coronation of the Junior and Children’s Queens, Ladies, and Misters, as well as the Senior King and Queen of our municipality.

The dance will then begin in the “Municipal Pavilion,” featuring the musical group “Latidos.”

In the Youth Pavilion, resident DJs “Turbo” and “Pájaro” will be playing the best hits all night.

 Thursday, August 8

10.30 pm – Music and Dance in the “Municipal Pavilion,” featuring the musical group “Latidos.”

12 midnight – Grand performance by “Juanlu Montoya,” known for songs like “Arrebato de amor,” “Cupido,” and “Te lo mereces,” among others.

After the performance, the musical group “Latidos” will continue into the early hours.

In the Youth Pavilion, resident DJs “Turbo” and “Pájaro” will be playing the best hits all night.

 Friday, August 9

9.30 pm – Grand children’s show “Disnemanía,” a musical with songs from Disney movies, in the Municipal Pavilion.

10.30 pm – Music and Dance in the “Municipal Pavilion,” featuring the group “Latidos.”

12 midnight – Grand performance by the flamenco group “El Callejón.”

2 am – Performance by the group “Comando Banderas,” with versions of Spanish pop rock for the 80s and millennials.

After the performance by Banderas, the group “Latidos” will continue into the early hours.

In the Youth Pavilion, resident DJs “Turbo” and “Pájaro” will be playing the best hits all night.

 Saturday, August 10

8 pm – Parade of Floats and Street Performances through the main streets of Manilva, accompanied by the “Charanga de Cádiz” and DJ “Pollo.”

10.30 pm – Music and Dance in the “Municipal Pavilion,” featuring the musical group “Latidos.”

12 midnight – Performance by the group “Barrieros del Sur,” a tribute to “El Barrio.”

2 am – Performance by the group “Compás Flamenco,”.

After the performance, the group “Latidos” will continue into the early hours.

In the Youth Pavilion, resident DJs “Turbo” and “Pájaro” will be playing the best hits all night.

 Sunday, August 11

7.30 pm – Parade of Floats and Street Performances through the main streets of El Castillo, continuing through the streets of San Luis de Sabinillas, accompanied by the “Charanga de Cádiz” and DJ “Pollo.”

10.30 pm – Music and Dance in the Municipal Pavilion, featuring the musical group “Latidos.”

12.30 am – Grand performance “Toreros con Chanclas,” featuring groups from the golden age of Spanish pop “Toreros Muertos” with “No me pises que llevo chanclas,” in the Municipal Pavilion.

After the performance, the group “Latidos” will continue into the early hours.

In the Youth Pavilion, resident DJs “Turbo” and “Pájaro” will be playing the best hits all night.

The Municipal Pavilion will open its doors every day from 9 pm. The Youth Pavilion will open daily from 10 pm to 1 am for young people aged 12 to 16 years.
