All is set for this year’s Moon Festival, which will be held on the Paseo Maritimo and beach in Sabinillas on Saturday, 1st July, 2023.
This magical evening starts at 9 pm with an exciting programme of activities, entertainment including acrobats, parades, craft market, static balloons, children’s games, and much more.
Musical entertainment will be provided by ‘Radio Hits’, ‘Money Makers’, DJ Noe Morillas, Aurelio Vargas on Percussion, Rubén Hidalgo on violin, Rafael Linero on keytar and vocalist Ela Fdez.
Programme
9 pm – Parades, acrobatics, hot air balloons and children’s games.
10 pm to 10.45 pm, and from 11.30 pm to 12.15 am the group Radio Hits will perform music from the 80s on the stage located on the beach in front of Calle Picasso.
10.45 pm to 11.30 pm and from 12.15 am to 12.45 am The Money Makers will perform a selection of international hits.
There will be a presentation by the Council team and projection of apromotional video.
This will be followed by performances by DJ Noe Morillas, Aurelio Vargas on percussion, Rubén Hidalgo on violin, Rafael Linero on keytar and vocalist Ela Fdez.
It is traditional (but not essential) to dress in white.
Also please note that this year, due to safety and environmental concerns, the release of chinese lanterns and balloons is strictly prohibited.
