Manilva has been chosen to participate in the “Arboladas” Participatory Planting activity, part of the Málaga Viva programme initiated by the Provincial Council of Málaga as part of its “One Million Trees in the Province of Málaga” initiative.
Pedro Jiménez, the Technical Director of ProAmb (Integrated Environmental Protection), the organisation behind the event, recently visited the town to assess the area. He discussed technical aspects of the activity with Noelia Muñoz, the Councillor for the Environment.
The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 18th, along the coastal path in the Playas de Manilva Ecological Reserve. A bus carrying 50 volunteers from Malaga will travel to the planting site, joined by an additional 50 participants from Manilva.
