The Estepona Summer Fair will commence on Tuesday, 2nd July and continues until Sunday, 7th July. This year, the festivities will be opened by television presenter Carlos Sobera.

To announce the start of the fair, the Batucada ‘Bloco Eleguá,’ recent winners of the International Batucada Festival, PERCUmon 2024, will perform a street parade in the town centre on Tuesday afternoon, followed by the reading of the opening proclamation by the Basque actor and presenter Carlos Sobera. The event will take place at 9.30 pm on Avenida de España, featuring a performance by the singer Esperanza Soria. Following the proclamation, there will be a traditional fireworks display and the official opening of the fairground.

The Main Pavilion will host free concerts from various artists such as King África, David Barrull, José Ortiz, Miguel Campello, Merche, and Las Hermanas Rodes.

New this year – those with extreme sensitivity to loud sounds can pick up ear protectors at the Civil Protection Booth located at the fairground entrance, reducing the effects of auditory exposure during the fair.

Wednesday will be dedicated to children, featuring a kids’ party at 7.00 pm with ‘Los Narizotas’ from Circo Mr. Pollo in the Main Pavilion. Attractions will offer a 50% discount.

On Thursday, July 4, the Seniors’ Party will take place in the Main Pavilion, featuring a performance by José Ortiz from the television show ‘Se llama Copla.’

From Thursday to Saturday, attendees can enjoy free horse-drawn carriage rides with a stop at the Main Pavilion.

From Friday to Sunday, the Horse Walk in the fairgrounds will be open from 12.00 pm to 8.00 pm for all riders, who are encouraged to dress in Andalusian attire and decorate their horses.

Equine enthusiasts are invited to the VII Andalusian Horse Competition on Sunday, July 7, at the Horse Walk in the fairgrounds, where the best-dressed horses and riders in each category will be awarded.

The festivities will conclude with the traditional bullfight on Sunday at the Estepona Bullring, featuring top bullfighters Morante, Castella, and Roca Rey, fighting six bulls from the prestigious Hermanos García Jiménez and Olga Jiménez ranches.
