Estepona is preparing to host the 16th edition of the Subida de Campeones Estepona–Peñas Blancas, taking place from 25th to 27th April, 2025. This high-profile hill climb marks the event’s return to the Spanish Mountain Racing Championship calendar, and it stands out as the only national-level race in Andalusia this year.
The course runs 7.5 kilometres along the MA-8301 road in the Sierra Bermeja mountains. It’s the longest route in the national championship and presents a significant technical challenge for drivers due to its twists, elevation changes, and scenic yet demanding terrain.
In addition to scoring points for the Spanish Championship, the event is also valid for the Andalusian Mountain Championship and the Málaga Provincial Cup.
The programme kicks off on Friday, 25th April, with technical inspections and a presentation ceremony. Official practice sessions and timed races will be held throughout the weekend, leading up to the trophy ceremony on Sunday, 27th April.
With competitors and fans arriving from across the country, Estepona will once again become a focal point for motorsport enthusiasts, offering an exciting mix of top-level competition and breathtaking mountain views.
