Young skaters from the Manilva Club delivered an impressive set of performances last weekend at the International Open Competition held in Ger, Cerdanya, competing against athletes from across Spain and beyond.
The club entered four skaters across different categories, with all four producing strong results and valuable international experience.
Among the standout performances was Alice Porter, aged 12, who claimed 1st place in Division 4 after an excellent routine. Nicole Kolesnikova, just 9 years old, also stepped onto the podium with a superb 3rd place finish in Division 4.
In Division 3, 12-year-old Martina Flores finished in a highly respectable 5th place, while María Quirós, aged 13, secured 2nd place in her division following another strong display on the international stage.
The competition marked a particularly important milestone for two of the skaters, who were competing internationally for the first time. The club praised all four girls for their performances, commitment and attitude throughout the event.
Special mention was also given to María Quirós, who came close to achieving qualification for the Official World Inline Junior Championship — a significant achievement at her age and a sign of the growing level within the Manilva Club.
