Preparations are underway at the Los Baños de la Hedionda Roman baths ahead of the busy summer season, with maintenance and improvement works taking place at one of Casares’ most popular natural attractions.
The annual lifeguard service will begin on Friday 5th June to help improve visitor safety during the summer months, while security and parking surveillance services will come into operation from 20th June.
Casares Town Hall has also confirmed that the online reservation system through Eventbrite will open on 10th June at 9 am. Visitors will then be able to reserve free tickets for access between 20th June and mid-September. The tickets are intended solely to help control visitor numbers and protect the site during peak season.
The measures form part of the council’s ongoing efforts to improve organisation, safety and conservation at the historic Roman baths during the municipality’s busiest time of year.
