Loco Bongo in Sabinillas

Sabinillas is set for a night of music, laughter, games and prizes when Loco Bongo arrives in Manilva on Saturday 12 September.

The free event begins at 9.30 pm in Plaza de Los Maestros on the Paseo Marítimo in Sabinillas, bringing an interactive party inspired by the colourful television game shows of the 1990s.

Bingo, music and plenty of surprises

Loco Bongo takes the basic idea of bingo and turns it into a full-blown entertainment show. Instead of sitting quietly waiting for numbers to be called, audiences can expect music from across the decades, comedy, deliberately ridiculous challenges, audience participation and a series of bingo-style games with prizes up for grabs.

The emphasis is firmly on joining in, with the audience encouraged to become part of the show rather than simply watching from the sidelines. The colourful production aims to recreate the slightly chaotic atmosphere of the big television contests of the 1990s, updated as a live party for a modern audience.

Free entertainment on the Sabinillas seafront

The Manilva edition of Loco Bongo is completely free to attend, making it another addition to the municipality’s programme of open-air entertainment as the summer season draws to a close.

The event is being organised by Manilva Town Hall’s Department of Equality and Diversity, which says the activity forms part of its programme promoting participation, community life and shared leisure activities.

Loco Bongo Manilva takes place on Saturday 12 September at 9.30 pm in Plaza de Los Maestros, Paseo Marítimo de Sabinillas. Admission is free.
