The Estepona Literary Festival (FLEST) returns for its second edition from 27th to 29th June, 2025, at the Centro Cultural Mirador del Carmen, promising a vibrant celebration of literature, art, music, and culture in the heart of the Costa del Sol.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, which attracted over 2,000 attendees, this year’s festival boasts an impressive lineup of renowned authors, poets, artists, and musicians. Notable participants include Cervantes Prize winner Sergio Ramírez, best-selling romance novelist Megan Maxwell, journalist Manuel Jabois, paleontologist Juan Luis Arsuaga, and poets Elvira Sastre and Luis García Montero.
The festival’s multidisciplinary approach is evident in its diverse program. Highlights include the street exhibition “Faceless” by artist Coco Dávez on Calle Terraza, a painting workshop by Clara Cebrián, and a ceramic printing workshop with illustrator Abraham Menéndez, known as Abe The Ape. Fashion and art enthusiasts can look forward to discussions featuring designer Palomo Spain and art gallery owner Topacio Fresh.
Music plays a significant role in FLEST 2025, with evening concerts by acclaimed artists: Soleá Morente on Friday, Anni B Sweet on Saturday, and María Rodés on Sunday. These performances complement the festival’s literary and artistic offerings, creating a holistic cultural experience.
All events are free to attend until full capacity is reached, reflecting the festival’s commitment to accessibility and community engagement. FLEST 2025 is supported by the Directorate General of Books and Promotion of Reading of the Ministry of Culture and Sport and the Obra Social ‘la Caixa’.
