Estepona’s seafront will host a celebration of French-speaking culture on Saturday, 3 October 2026, bringing together food, artisan stalls and live entertainment beside the Mediterranean.
Organised by Estepona Town Hall and Esprit Sud Magazine, the Día de la Cultura Francófona will take place from 1 pm to 9 pm on the Paseo Marítimo, around the Monumento de la Peseta.
Visitors can browse a market featuring creators and craftspeople, discover culinary specialities and enjoy an afternoon of music. Fine Tune Duet and DJ Chet Le Boy will provide the entertainment, with activities also advertised as part of the programme.
The celebration forms part of Estepona’s “Compartiendo Culturas” initiative, which brings residents and visitors together through the food, music, traditions and craftsmanship of the town’s international communities. The municipal programme has returned for its third edition this autumn.
The day celebrates the wider French-speaking community, offering an opportunity to meet people, explore its cultural traditions and enjoy the atmosphere along Estepona’s promenade.
There is also a sporting start to the celebrations, with a team pétanque competition taking place that morning. Scheduled from 10 am to 2 pm at the Campo de Fútbol San Fernando in Estepona, the competition gives participants a chance to enjoy the traditional boules game before heading to the seafront festivities.
Anyone wishing to register a team for the pétanque competition should contact 633 023 091.
For those planning a visit, the main cultural celebration takes place on Saturday, 3 October, from 1 pm to 9 pm, beside the Monumento de la Peseta on Estepona’s Paseo Marítimo.
