Canela Party will return to the Torremolinos Fairground from Thursday, 27th to Saturday, 29th August 2026, bringing together an eclectic mix of alternative music, international performers, spectacular costumes and plenty of confetti.
The Málaga festival has developed a personality all of its own since it was first launched in 2007. While live music remains at the heart of the event, Canela Party is also known for its relaxed atmosphere, imaginative fancy dress and enthusiastic crowds, creating an experience that feels very different from the traditional summer music festival.
This year’s programme features artists from Spain and around the world, covering indie rock, post-punk, hardcore, electronic music and experimental pop.
The festival begins on Thursday, 27th August, with performances from Baiuca, British alternative rock band Basement, Getdown Services, Geordie Greep, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Maruja, Me and the Bees, French artist Melody’s Echo Chamber, Australian hardcore group Speed and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
Friday, 28th August will bring another varied programme featuring flamenco singer Ángeles Toledano, FUET!, Gazella, High Vis, La Paloma, Mala Gestión, American punk band Mannequin Pussy, Portuguese group MAQUINA., Rufus T. Firefly and Weird Nightmare.
The festival will close on Saturday, 29th August with its traditional fancy-dress celebration, when both the audience and many of the performers are encouraged to arrive in costume. The final day’s line-up includes Amor Líquido, Carolina Durante, CERVATANA, Chalk, Deafheaven, joseluis, Brazilian artist Karen Dió, Las Petunias, Nation of Language, Sandré, Upchuck and Wavves.
The Saturday costumes have become one of the defining features of Canela Party, with groups of friends creating everything from simple homemade outfits to elaborate themed costumes. Combined with the live music, energetic crowds and showers of confetti, the result is one of the most colourful festival experiences on the Costa del Sol.
The event will take place at the Recinto Ferial de Torremolinos, making it easily accessible from Málaga and other areas along the Costa del Sol. Festival passes and ticket information are available through the official Canela Party website and its authorised ticketing platform.
With its mixture of established performers, emerging artists and a festival atmosphere that refuses to take itself too seriously, Canela Party 2026 promises three memorable days for anyone looking to finish the summer with loud music, creative costumes and one very big party.
