New Manilva bus

Since the beginning of the current administration, improving the bus transport service has been a key priority for the Manilva Town Hall, with efforts that are now yielding results.

Thanks to the direct work of the Mayor’s Office and the Municipal Vehicle Department, extraordinary progress has been made, including the introduction of a new bus that will enhance service for the general public and, in particular, for students from Manilva who commute to Aprona.

During the official ceremony, the parish priest, D. José Antonio Melgar, was present to bless the bus. A delegation from the taxi association also attended, recognising their fundamental role in providing complementary transport services.

The newly introduced vehicle is fully adapted, featuring up to six special seating areas and a total capacity of 39 passengers. It is equipped with all necessary comfort and safety features, as well as other amenities. Additionally, it carries the official corporate branding of Manilva Única. The Mayor of Manilva, José Manuel Fernández, accompanied by members of the local government team, expressed his satisfaction, stating:
“I want to highlight the outstanding work carried out by Councillor Noelia Muñoz in the Municipal Vehicle Department, a role that Agustín Vargas will now continue with the same commitment, ensuring the best possible service for the public,” said the mayor.
