Burger lovers will have a new reason to visit Estepona this summer when The Burger Cup arrives at the town’s Plaza de Toros for six evenings of food, music and entertainment.
Taking place from Tuesday 11 to Sunday 16 August 2026, the festival will bring together burger restaurants from across Spain, offering visitors the opportunity to discover a variety of creative recipes and gourmet interpretations of one of the world’s most popular dishes.
The Burger Cup forms part of Estepona Town Hall’s extensive summer cultural programme and is one of two new gastronomic events being introduced to the town this year. Alongside the food, the festival will feature music and activities designed for visitors of all ages, creating a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere at the Plaza de Toros.
The event will open each evening from 8 pm until 1 am, allowing visitors to enjoy the festival after the heat of the day. Admission is free, making it an ideal summer evening out for families, groups of friends and anyone keen to sample some of the burgers being served by the participating vendors.
The Burger Cup will also coincide with Estepona’s Certamen Mundial del Jamón, which takes place on the Paseo Marítimo from 7 to 16 August. Together, the two events promise to make Estepona one of the Costa del Sol’s leading destinations for food and entertainment during the middle of August.
