Romanian Festival Manilva

Manilva will celebrate Romanian culture and traditions on Saturday 20th June 2026 with the Romanian Festival “Ziua Iei & Sânzienele” at the Municipal Pavilion.

The family-friendly event will bring together the Romanian community and residents of all nationalities for an evening of live music, traditional dance, Romanian gastronomy, artisan products, exhibitions and children’s activities.

Cultural groups from across Spain will take part alongside performances from Nelu & Ionica Raceanu, Grupo Folclórico Traditii Malaga, Suflet Romanesc, David Rotaru and Silvia Allegro.

The festival will also celebrate the traditional Romanian “Blusa Rumana”, recognised as UNESCO cultural heritage, together with the Sânzienele summer folklore tradition.

Representatives from the Romanian Consulate are expected to attend, highlighting the importance of the event for the Romanian community on the Costa del Sol.

Traditional food and drinks, raffles, community activities and cultural displays will be available throughout the evening.

The festival takes place at the Pabellón de Usos Múltiples in Manilva from 6.30 pm, with free entry for all visitors.
