One of the Costa del Sol’s favourite community summer events is set to return this June, as the annual Party in the Square – Fiesta del Sol takes place in Plaza del Coral at Duquesa Port on Saturday 13th June from 7 pm.
The popular open-air event will once again bring together residents and visitors for an evening of live music, entertainment and fundraising in the heart of Puerto de la Duquesa.
Entertainment on the night will be provided by Rocking Johnny, who will perform live throughout the evening.
This year’s event will raise funds for Fundación Aprona, the Estepona-based organisation supporting people with disabilities.
The event is supported by a number of local businesses and organisations, including Morgan Hair Design, Manilva Properties, Ryders and Shandies, together with the Foreign Residents Department of Manilva Town Hall.
Party in the Square has become a well-established date on the local social calendar, attracting a lively mix of residents, tourists and music lovers to Duquesa Port each summer while helping raise money for worthwhile local causes.
