The Mayor of Manilva, José Manuel Fernández, accompanied by councillor and business owner Noelia Muñoz, along with two local entrepreneurs, visited Málaga to officially deliver a petition containing 2,323 signatures to the Government Sub-delegation. The petition calls for increased security in the municipality.
Mayor Fernández reiterated his complete support for local business owners and their initiatives, as previously conveyed in meetings with Manilva’s commercial sector, emphasizing both his personal commitment and that of the local Council.
Fernández, who oversees Public Safety, stated: “We will always stand by our residents and especially our local businesses. Security is a collective responsibility, and it’s essential to advocate for increased personnel and resources to ensure we have the best possible services in this area.”
He concluded by saying: “We are now awaiting a meeting with Javier Salas, the Government Sub-delegate in Málaga. He has expressed willingness to meet with us as soon as the requested report from the State Security Forces is made available.”
