The Manilva Town Council is diligently working through all the necessary requirements demanded by the authorities to expedite the realisation of the new high school.
However, in order for the construction of the centre to commence, a critical matter must be addressed. Both the Mayor and the person in charge of Urban Planning, José Manuel Fernández, along with the councillors responsible for Infrastructure and Education, AgustÃn Vargas and Fina Gómez, respectively, are actively resolving the issue concerning the entry and exit points to the site currently designated as a parking area.
Municipal authorities are engaged in a series of meetings with the Urban Planning Manager and municipal experts to untangle the situation related to this plot, which is situated to the north of the existing school. This plot holds the key to providing access to the new school, which is planned to be constructed behind the current one.
The Mayor is optimistic about resolving this crucial aspect and ensuring that “the new high school will help reduce student-to-teacher ratios in classrooms, thus improving the overall educational environment.”
